Yasemin Hyuseinova
Women’s Health Specialist & Personal Trainer
I help you flourish through sustainable movement, helping you build strength and lasting wellbeing at every stage of life through personal training in Edinburgh and supportive coaching.
Fitness should be a source of freedom, not a chore.
I grew up loving movement—from dancing and swimming to playing volleyball. This taught me early on that fitness is about more than just muscles and endurance; it is deeply connected to how we feel, how we live, and the relationships around us.
With a BSc in Physical Activity, Health, and Wellbeing, my passion is helping others experience that same joy. Whether you are recovering from an illness or simply want to regain confidence in your body, my coaching is personal and evidence-based, designed to adapt to your needs at every stage of life.
This experience shaped the Health by Science approach: we don’t just “patch you up”. We look at the whole picture—your sleep, your stress, and your unique lifestyle—to build a plan that actually works for your real life.
Supporting your health journey
I specialise in empowering women to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident.
- Women’s Health Specialist: I have a deep focus on supporting women through the various stages of menopause and improving pelvic health.
- Thrive Class Coach: As part of our core team, I help lead our Thrive rehabilitation classes, helping individuals regain independence after major health setbacks. My approach is centered on ‘pacing’—ensuring that whether you are recovering from a stroke or managing a long-term clinical condition, you have a structured, safe environment to rebuild your capacity. I am passionate about helping every participant move beyond their current limitations to find a sustainable way to flourish and feel confident in their body again.
- Active Independence: My goal is to help you stay active and independent, providing a roadmap that supports both your physical and mental wellbeing.
Training for life
In my free time, I am endlessly curious about how the mind and body work, often catching up on the latest research through books or podcasts. I believe in “training for life”—building the resilience, energy, and freedom to enjoy everything else that matters. Whether that means a long mobility session, a run, or a coffee with friends, I mix things up to keep movement fun and meaningful.
